Berry College student Robbie Ellwanger continues to document the importance of persimmon fruits at this time of year in the diets of a number of animals, including coyotes.

This incredible footage starts with a coyote feeding at a persimmon tree at midday, but a parade of other species soon follows and continues on into the night.  Note the tradeoff between feeding on a favored food item and maintaining vigilance exhibited by several of the species.

The video ends with bobcats, who are not seen eating persimmons, but who are apparently attracted to the site by the presence of other prey items.
